My menses is quite irregular and I am now becoming quite worried. What are the possible complications of this and what can I do about it?

Hi dear, you may have a valid reason to worry if your menses is irregular, because even though irregular menses in itself is not a disease, it is usually associated with irregular or absent ovulation and is often a symptom of various possible causes of disorders of ovulation. Therefore it can be associated with infertility, irregular but heavy menstrual flow, anaemia and other complications of the specific cause of the disorder.
